Matthew Jacobs

“I'm Matthew Jacobs, I am 38 years old and I live in Avondale. It’s me and my three kids. And on this day, we were, um, we went out to eat with family. And so we did a Tik Tok, just, you know, on the on the edge of World war at this restaurant. I just screenshotted as a picture to remember this and it was just something silly to do, and it was fun. It's a good reminder that I almost didn't come to this thing because I had stuff I could have been doing for work. And the kids were like, ‘No, no, you should come, you should come’.’And so I was like, ‘Okay, yeah, I'll come.’ And so I wouldn't be able to just capture this memory if I decided to work.

I think this picture represents growth. And the reason the reason why it represents growth is because it's the realization that me and my wife, we do a lot, in our community for our church, for work, for lots of other things. And so, it's just a constant reminder to myself that things aren't going nuclear, things aren't falling apart. So, rest every once in a while. Take breaks, enjoy time, enjoy things with family.”
