“My name is Michael Davis, I was born and raised in Avondale. It's a part of my history, this history. IIt's a statue right there on Reading Road and Forest of the President Lincoln. And it's historical statue. And it's been there for years, forever. We used to always meet in South Avondale behind the statue at South Avondale Elementary School. I played football there. I went there elementary years, and that was a big thing to me, that statue, because we always played on the statue. We jumped up on the statue, played in the parking lot and a lot and everything.”
