“[This picture is] important because it was taken on my 72nd birthday. My friend took me out, and I really had a great time. I enjoyed myself to the utmost. It was really wonderful. I hadn’t had a birthday like that since I was 26 years old. It really made me feel good about myself again. I was hitting a kind of low because I had been so sick for so long, and now I’m trying to get back up on my feet. With God’s help, I can do it and the people here in East Westwood are great.”
