ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPH:

“I'm Thailynn Thompson. I am a worker at Third Presbyterian Church, and I live right next door to it.

I've been in East Westwood for three years now.

I’ve seen a lot of changes since I first got here. For example, the crosswalk—that was something Miss Kim helped make happen. That change really helps a lot. There have been many efforts, especially around helping people with food and things like that.

I’ve learned a lot. I’ve learned how to conduct surveys, how to work with the kids, when to tell them to come, when to leave, and what I need to do when I’m serving. She also taught me a lot about cooking.”
