ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPH:

“It gave me a really good insight on a culture completely different to mine. I grew up in a small white town, where everyone knows each other, but they're not too close distance-wise. You have neighbors every, every couple of miles usually. For me to be able to come here and be in a completely different culture where I mean, I'm, to put it bluntly, I'm around a bunch of Black kids, and to be able to see their views on life and their completely new culture has really been an eye-opener for me, considering I've had such a small racial diversity in my life.”
