The West End
Janetta Amison
I came up in the Lincoln Courts; my grandmother stayed on Clark Street. I think I was about five or six when they moved to Clark Street. The court that we was in was right across from the street from Porter School, and they called it “The Amison Court,” because the whole family lived in that court, and my uncle and my aunt, everybody’s kids was their kids.
