Carlos Shannon

My name is Carlos Shannon. I went to Bloom in 2001 or 2000. So in the first year they started the Back on Track program, if you stuck a year or something, you could have went there and caught up. I ended up getting kicked out of there because I had got into some trouble. And the principal gave me an ultimatum, like he would have to expel me or I could transfer schools. So that's really what made me drop out of school, because I was already back a grade. Then when I went to Bloom and I finished the program, I didn't go back to school the rest of the year. And when I went to school the next year, I was back two grades. So I was basically going to school with the people I went to school with little siblings, their younger siblings. I wasn't feeling that, so I stopped going to school.

I like the West End. I've been coming from here to the West End since then and I like it, man. I always come down here. I like the people.
