Stormy and Starry

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPH:

My name is Star, and I live in the Sherman Park area.

Hi, my name is Stormy, and we live in the Cleveland Park area.

The reason I think the garden is important is that it helps the community come together.

I also think the garden is important because it helps people who can’t really afford produce at the store—it gives them access to fresh food.

We started step by step to get the garden going. We had to get more donations to help build it up. Those donations helped us get more plants and build the garden beds.
