Theresa Watson Worthen

“My name is Teresa Watson Worthen. I am 53 years old, and I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I decided to tell my story about are my parents, because they are the most important people that were in my life, most influential, and the ones that helped me to learn to be who I am. They modeled the right things for me in order to help me become a good person in society.

The two people in the picture are my parents, Hubert and Jean Gene Watson. The photo is actually a picture of the day my younger sister, Melissa, and her late husband, Frank Arrington, were getting married.

If you look at my mom, my mom is smiling. She's always she was always smiling, always singing. And my dad just looks like a very stern individual. He gave us the discipline that we needed. Mom gave us the fun parts of life, how to be footloose and fancy free, how to laugh. But together, they gave us love, and lots of it.”
