Sandra Johnson

My name is Sandy Johnson. I grew up in the Laurel Homes. I had family in the Laurel Homes, and we used to always go to the Regal, and we used to sit there, you know, two or three times, the same movie, all day, eating the hot dogs, and the hot dogs was real good. But then when the rats got to running across your feet! But we still was so interested, and we still was so excited to go to the Regal, because that's where all of my all my little cousins and big cousins, all of us used to go together, and we used to have fun down there.

The majority of my family that was here, they moved out. The younger generation is growing up down here now; but the older generations have moved out.
