The West End

Sharing A Legacy of Resilience

The West End

Selma Brown

Downtown, to me, it’s pretty helpful to me. Like I stay across from the Seven Hills Neighborhood Center. So when I first moved down here, I didn’t know nothing. They have all the information that you need to have, and if you need food; they give you food. If you need some water; they give you water. If you just need somebody to talk to, you can go talk to them. So, they’ve been very helpful to me and to my grandbabies, because they have all kinds of little functions for the children, and that’s a blessing. So, the Neighborhood Houses is in my heart.
